The two-stage break-action cocking mechanism reduces cocking effort by 50 percent, with the included D-TAC buttstock extension further lowering effort by an additional 25 percent. This is my first crossbow and so far I like it. I was looking for something that was portable and good enough for plinking and varmints. The adjustable front end is fantastic allowing the bow to packed flat like a regular weapon, genius. The butt cocking extension (incl) does work to make cocking even easier. This package gives you everything you need to get started right out of the box. The scope is workable but easy to swap out if you require something better. Very impressive package to me as a first timer. This was my first purchase from Bowhunters and I was impressed. Their price was better than my local shops and no tax or shipping. They fulfilled the order and shipped quickly and it arrived well packed.
